Fauja Singh Keeps Going

An amazing tale of Fauja Singh, who became the first one hundred-year-old to run a marathon! An inspirational true story about resilience, grit, and overcoming obstacles.

Every step forward is a victory. Fauja’s story is incredibly compelling as he was born with very weak legs that wouldn't allow him to partake in cricket or play with neighborhood friends. In his youth, others had to carry him for miles from his village in Punjab to school. Fauja slowly worked on improving his strength and never stopped.
At 81, Fauja decided to run his first marathon. He went on to break records all around the world and became the first person over 100 to complete in this long-distance race.
Inspiring and motivational, this book makes me want to go exercise to improve strength, mental acuity, and show my kids the power of the human body and spirit.
