A Fort on the Moon
This book was so fun! Kind of reminded me of a cross between the The Polar Express and the popular Netflix kids’ movie, Over The Moon.
Two siblings have an after-bedtime shared hobby, creating a fort to the moon from a pile of their mom’s old junk, which was slated for donation. Cleverly combining all the items, they’ve created a fort to the moon, and tinker with it often to perfect their design. When they speak of this over breakfast in the mornings, their parents smile, amused, convinced this is only pretend, but the kids know they truth. Their nightly adventures bring exploration, discovery, and wonder.
A bit wordier than your average picture book, ideal for kids 7 and up. This was a fun one, capturing creativity, imagination, science, mischief, and magic all in one wonderful story.
