1000 Things Under The Sea

This is one of our favorite series; my middle guy has spent hours pouring over these pages, finding every obscure sea anemometer, crustacean, and sea creature imaginable. I know have words like “Passion flower sea star” and “immortal jellyfish” in my vocabulary thanks to this book.

It’s not a picture book, more an illustrated list of 1000 things under the sea. Best of all, my kids reference it constantly. When we watched My Octopus Teacher on Netflix, they immediately ran to it to identify the shark preying on the octopus. We’re also used it to identify animals in books, DisneyNature shows, and more. It is well-loved, colorful, and extremely thorough. Highly recommend!
