I love finding stories with interesting perspectives, giving the reader a chance to see the world through a lens they might not have ever considered. Ray is a lone light bulb, housed in a family’s often neglected storage closet. Ray’s life is predictable and consistent. He thrives on sameness and routine. But a surprise opportunity to relocate to a camping lantern gives him a perspective he’d never even imagined possible, and opened his mind and world view beyond his wildest dreams. An excellent, short and sweet book about perspective, pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones, and seeing all the world has to offer.
