The Rabbit Listened
This book is a must-read in my humble opinion. When something sad happens to Taylor he’s not sure what to do. Turning to his animals for help, he finds that each animal has a different suggestion for how to handle his feelings; from talking it out to getting angry, and on and on. Nothing feels quite right. Finally, he comes to the rabbit, who sits quietly, patiently, and just listens. It feels so nice, it feels right. The rabbit listens and listens without interruption as Taylor processes and feels all his feelings and moves through them at his own pace. A gentle reminder that feelings are MEANT to be felt, not talked away, pushed under the rug, or ignored. A lovely book with such an important message. One we reread again and again.
