Remote Learning: How To Train Your Dragon Legos + Diagram
We are big fans of the How To Train Your Dragon movies. Today, I asked the kids to create their own dragon out of legos. I gave minimal directions—no guidelines or parameters. They had about 20 minutes to play and build before we shared our creations, commenting or complimenting each other’s. Next, I asked them to draw a picture of their dragon, name it, and label 2-3 parts. I helped my daughter (6) sound out and my son (4) spell. This was the hardest part but ultimately they did it. The entire activity was between 45-60 minutes.
