Once Upon A Goat

My kids enjoyed reading this one. When the king and queen want to have a child, they call upon the fairy godmother to grant them their wish, citing “any kid will do!” A sentiment which she takes quite literally, delivering a baby goat-a kid- to their doorstep. While they’re initially upset and try to send the goat back, they come to love and adore their “kid” as their own. When the fairy realizes her mistake, she tries to rectify the situation, though the king and queen are reluctant. Though they didn’t sign up to parent a pet, they’ve grown to love their little kid. Luckily, they come up with a suitable plan that makes everyone happy.
