Red Sky At Night

Growing up, my grandpa always had a handful of phrases he’d spout off for every situation. Some from his days in the Marine Corps, some from random wise people he encountered along the way, and some that were so peculiar I had no idea where he learned them.

“Red sky at morn, sailors take warn. Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.” Is one a remember fondly, uttered upon the dazzling pinky-orange O
regon sunsets that are forever embossed on my memory.

This book, Red Sky at Night, brings poignant illustrations to common weather related sayings and their meanings. A beautiful read to teach your kiddos the cues of nature.
