The Most Magnificent Thing

The Most Magnificent Thing is a great book for a recovering perfectionist like myself. A kid friendly lesson explaining that things can be magnificent without being perfect, and trial and error is an essential part of life.

Side note: I appreciate the illustrator’s use of dark, menacing scribbles that grow in size above the character’s head, mirroring her furrowed brow as it indicative of the frustration she feels while making mistakes and toiling away - I can totally relate! 😂
