The Curious Garden

Peter Brown's gem of a book, The Curious Garden has been a longtime favorite of mine, and now, to my delight, is now appreciated by my daughter.
Our world moves so fast; and with that pace is the slow eradication of natural resources. I often wonder what our landscape will look like by the time my children are grandparents. This book is a kind reminder of how to seek and find beauty, even when it seems impossible.
Loosely based on the transformation of Highline Park in New York City, this story demonstrates that with a little effort, love, and perseverance, natural beauty can be cultivated and coaxed back to life.
